Is writing erotic fiction a good talent?

How to start... x3 Well, I wrote the 1st chapter of an erotic fiction story and posted it to this website before I went on vacation, and when I got back (in 2 weeks) I had at least 25 emails from people that had read the story and telling me how good it was! It felt really awesome because it was my first attempt at anything like that, but is it something to be proud of? x3

Sure! Writing erotic fiction is still part of writing, and if you can do it well, then it’s certainly great.
Personally I think it is. And I know that more than one author supported himself/herself financially writing erotica while pursuing a more mainstream career.

Yeah! Thats awesome! I’m writing a story and it has just one sexx scene and I can’t seem to make it jump off the page. So you’ve got a talent there.

Good on ya mate! Though some people on certain web site hunger for just about anything. Depends on the slash site. Still to have 25 e-mails means that you were good enough to get a response. I’d be happy with it, but don’t let it get to your head. Keep it up and see how far you can go. I post on a couple different slash sites too, pics mostly, and sometimes people can be really critical, so be careful not to take it too personally even if they trash ya a bit. All kinds of people have different tastes. It’s hard to get some to “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” like my parents taught me. Good luck. Just my thoughts.
Of course it might not crown the top 10 lists easily. But a good erotic book sure!
